If you are thinking too much and feeling tentative over your putts, The Rapid Fire Drill is perfect for you.

  • Set 10 balls in a line.
  • Choose NO target - that is NOT a typo :)
  • Hit a 30’ putt (based on what your brain says is 30’)
  • Don’t look up
  • Don’t take a practice stroke
  • Step to the next ball and hit another putt … repeat until you run out of balls.

This is how a “Free” stroke feels!

If you master this relaxed motion, then slow down a little and take a deep breath between strokes.

You’re a Ninja if you can take a breath, make a practice stroke, then hit the putt - but don’t look up :)
