Don’t freak on me yet :)
The Cambridge Study proves the validity of the 10,000 reps. You can do it! I'll show you how.
Focus on a single element of your stroke (not the whole stroke).
I’ve selected 3 key fundamentals we can work on that don’t require a ball or a cup. Let's take a look...
1. Face Angle at Impact
The Putting Impact System will teach you to square your putter face at impact. The purpose of the Putting Impact System is to help you learn how to see, feel, and repeat the correct impact position. It will teach you to square your putter face at impact. Make strokes and learn to hit the impact plate straight forward. Learn more...
2. Momentum Through Impact
The Ball of Steel will help you keep your momentum through impact and avoid a decelerating stroke. If your stroke is losing momentum as it approaches the ball, your distance control will suffer. The weight of the Ball of Steel demands a stroke with energy at impact. Learn more...
3. Putter Path
70 degrees is the lie angle of most putters. Use our Edge Putting Rail and your putter will travel like it was built to - when you bring the putter off the ground it will travel slightly inside the line, and return squarely to the ball with ease. This is what a "solid" putt feels and looks like. Learn more...
Give yourself the opportunity to make 100 reps each day - some at the office, at home, and at the course.
If we learn to bring the putter face square to our target line, we’ve eliminated a huge pile of missed short putts :)
Use the Putting Laser+ to show your eyes what square looks like.
Use the Putting Impact System to instantly know if the face was square when you impacted the ball.
Use them together to create an indelible image of “square”.
Put all your attention on this single principle … nothing else for 50 strokes.
Let me know what you learn :)

Mere Experience Versus Deliberate Practice
The Study proves there is a huge difference in our performance when we focus our practice deliberately on a specific task.
You know it is true, but how do we apply it to putting?
I created products to focus on one specific piece of putting.
- The Ball of Steel is focused on “momentum through impact”
- The Haney Impact System is focused on “face alignment at impact”
- The Pendulum Putting Rod is focused on “connected stroke”
Occasionally, more is not better. If you try to see how many ways you can use an aid you will have an enjoyable experience, but not a productive one.
Stay focused and go practice!
Our Fall FUN-Damentals series is all about our S.O.S. System - SOLID, ONLINE, SPEED.

“If you can swing the putter through the gate, you will hit the ball in the center of the putter. If you make the Impact Plate go straight, then the ball will be on target." - Hank Haney
Let’s combine the 2 drills into one, simple, fun practice session.
This video is a conversation I had with Hank while we were filming the instruction for the Putting Impact System.
The footage is an out-take, but the content is awesome!
