USING THE CHECKPOINT SWING LASER:
Trying to describe the motions of a golf swing with words is difficult. It is almost as hard to actually see your own movements.
“Am I swinging in the right direction?” “Where should the club point at the target line?” “How do I know when I am making a good shoulder turn?” The questions are endless!
Forget the confusing terminology about your swing. Simply trace the laser dot on the path stripe going back, going up, and returning the club through impact and follow through. If the dot is on the stripe, you are in great positions!
The system has two lasers attaching to your club - any club. The “down” laser shows you the path of your swing … exactly. The “up” laser will show you the exact plane of your swing in your backswing and downswing.
It removes the mystery of returning the clubface squarely to the impact position.
Your eyes and body will positively feel the correct positions of your swing to create the maximum club speed and distance.
*Works for right and left handed golfers.

Quick Start Guide
Slip the bracket onto the club shaft near the head and slide up towards the grip until snug. Make sure the longer arm has the laser pointing up and the shorter arm has the laser pointing down. Then rotate the entire bracket around until the "down" laser is showing a clear dot directly in front of the club face.
Each laser uses an included AAA battery (cheap and easy to replace).
1. Work on taking the club back to waist high, keeping the first laser on the stripe.
If the laser is pointing outside of the stripe, the hands are working too much away from the body. If the laser is inside of the stripe the club head is swinging too much around the body.
2. Work on getting the second laser to enter the target side of the stripe as the hands swing from waist high to the top of the swing. If the laser points outside of the stripe the club is too flat. If the laser is inside of the stripe the club is too steep.
3. Make 10 very slow motion swings with the lasers tracking the stripe back and through. Using another club without the lasers on it, hit five shots trying to replicate the same feel. Repeat this process.

Why can't I just tape a couple cheap cat lasers to my club instead
We created the Checkpoint with some thought that might be worth considering. If we taped lasers on the shaft, the "up" laser would hit your knuckles and would not be visible - except on your hands. the "down" laser would not be adjustable with each club.
The polycarbonate clip is ultra strong to hold the lasers and club shaft - no sliding around. The lasers are commercial grade strength so they can be seen outdoors, and they are tested for accurate projection. Sometimes lasers do not project "straight", so they don't give accurate feedback.

Can I make full-speed swings with The Check Point Laser?
The point of the Check Point is to guide and teach positions in the swing. If the swing is too fast, then you can't see the lasers, so nothing is really gained. Swing very slow and you will instantly see the path and plane. Stopping at certain points will burn in those position, too. It has amazing results.
Does it work with junior clubs?
Currently, the Check Point Laser does not work with junior golf clubs. The Check Point Laser bracket is too large to fit snuggly on the shaft of junior clubs.
How do I transfer my Check Point training motions to hitting balls?
Start by making slow rehearsal swings with the Check Point laser on one club, like an 8 iron, focusing on key movements like proper swing path and plane. Practice the motion slowly to ingrain the feel and visual cues. After a few rehearsals, switch to a different club, like a 7 iron, and hit a full swing shot. Alternate between slow rehearsals with the laser and hitting balls with a different club. The goal is to improve your swing, not rush the process—take your time to feel and refine each movement for lasting progress.
Can the Check Point Swing Laser help me with clubface to eliminate my slice?
Yes, the Check Point can help eliminate your slice by training both the path of your swing and the squareness of the clubface. While the Check Point ensures you're on the correct swing path, it also includes a stripe that simulates the square position of the clubface at impact. As you make slow rehearsal swings, you'll be able to see and feel if your clubface is coming in square or open. By tracing the laser dot and comparing it to the square line on the stripe, you'll train both your path and clubface alignment, helping to eliminate slices by ensuring the face is square at impact.
